Prime Minister Kurti welcomed and talked with students from Austria and Italy

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a conversation today with a large group of students from more than 30 different countries of the world, who are pursuing master’s studies in Vienna, Austria and Venice, Italy. This group of students is staying in Kosovo as part of a study visit.

He informed them of the main results of the government, the reforms undertaken and some of the main policies of the government. Here he singled out allowances for young mothers and children as evidence of institutional care for the family, the youth employment platform SuperPuna, the decision to make higher education free for all and the exponential increase in the number of scholarships for students especially in the STEM fields, support for non-majority communities in the country, increased attention to energy efficiency in both private homes and businesses, and investments in renewable energy.

After the Prime Minister’s introductory presentation, the students and professors present asked questions and expanded the discussion according to their areas of interest. The students and professors present thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the opportunity and his willingness to welcome them and discuss openly.
