Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, visited two kindergartens in Pristina.
The purpose of the visits was to mark the start of the implementation of the redesigned children’s allowances. Allowances under the new scheme were executed yesterday for the first time for over 417,000 children nationwide. Through this scheme, it is possible for each child in Kosovo, regardless of age, to benefit from at least 20 euros per month, while for families with three or more children, they benefit from 30 euros per month for each of the children.
The visits were made to the public kindergarten “Yllkat” as well as to the public-private kindergarten “Zogjte” in Prishtina, where Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Murati were received by the Director of the “Yllkat” kindergarten Mrs. Rifadije Sopi as well as the director of the ” Zogjte ” kindergarten Mrs. Arta Shushka.
It is worth noting that in these two kindergartens there are more than 350 children between the ages of 9 months and 6 years, who are also beneficiaries of the new child allowance scheme.
