Prime Minister Kurti spoke with the students of the Summer Institute 2024 “Teach for Kosovo”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, this morning had a conversation with the students of the Summer Institute 2024 “Teach for Kosovo”, in the premises of the primary school “Gjergj Fishta”, in Prishtina, with the topic “Leadership challenges for young people in Kosovo”.

In the context of this conversation with the students of the Institute, Prime Minister Kurti spoke about the education and training of young people and the importance of education, as he also showed that at the University of Pristina, about 50 percent of students in STEM are girls and women, in contrast to in the European Union this average is 17 percent.

“Of all the investments we have made, the investment with the highest return has been scholarships for female students. We have invested in many areas, but the return as big as the scholarships for female students in STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, we do not have a better example”, said Prime Minister Kurti in front of the students.

He also mentioned the successes of the University of Pristina, which, based on the results published by Webometrics, has risen higher than ever before. He also spoke about the importance of social and civic engagement in various issues of common interest and that of the community, which contribute to the development of the country and the state.

At the end of his speech, he encouraged the students to learn as many new things as possible and to always try and not give up to achieve greater and greater successes.
