Last night, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the opening of the National Democratic Convention, which will last until 22 August.
Before its start, a reception was held with the international guests, where the Prime Minister met and talked with the former Secretary General of NATO, Lord George Robertson, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ann Linde and the President of NDI , Tamara Wittes, among others.
During the work of the Democratic National Convention on the first night, the main speakers were the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, the First Lady, Jill Biden, the former Secretary of State and the former candidate of the Democratic Party for president, Hillary Clinton , as well as New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Before President Biden’s speech, the Vice President of the USA, who is expected to be nominated as the candidate of the Democrats in the upcoming elections, Kamala Harris, gave a short speech of greeting.
