In honor of the heroic fall of Commander Ilaz Kodra, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute at the Memorial Complex in the Marinë of the Municipality of Skenderaj.
Prime Minister Kurti placed fresh flowers in commemoration of the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and the fierce battle with the Serbian forces, where Ilaz Kodra, commander of Brigade 114, “Fehmi Lladrovci”, Operational Zone of Drenica, fell heroically.
With honors at the memorial erected in memory of the fallen, the Prime Minister laid flowers for the 42 fallen, led by Ilaz Kodra, in defense of civilians in Shtuticë, Verboc, Baks, Gllobar and surrounding villages, where tens of thousands of Albanians had gathered.
Previously, Prime Minister Kurti paid tribute to the villages of Gllobar, Verboc and Shtuticë, where on 30 April, 1999, the armed forces of Serbia committed massacres against the Albanian civilian population.
