Prime Minister Kurti paid a condolence visit to the family of Professor Kadri Metaj

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today, paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased professor, Kadri Metaj.

He expressed his high regard for the contribution of university professor Kadri Metaj in the field of education and generational education.

Prime Minister Kurti’s note in the book of memories:

“Professor Kadri Metaj taught many generations of students who today contribute to Kosovo and society to think.

With his life as an engaged intellectual and professor of Philosophy, in his long-read written works, we find him in our work and role as an unfailing inspiration.
With longing and respect”.

Prime Minister Kurti also participated in the funeral ceremony of the deceased professor. Today he was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, and the Deputy Minister of Justice, Vigan Qorrolli.

Professor Kadri Metaj received his doctorate in 1987 at the University of Pristina, and in 1979 he was elected an assistant in the philosophy-sociology department. From 1999 until his retirement, he was a full professor in the Department of Philosophy, where he taught courses in the fields of philosophy.
He also lectured at the University of Southeast Europe in Tetovo, at the University of Skopje and at the University of Tetovo.

Some of his works are: “The Aesthetic Theory of Gjergj Llukaçi” published in 1990, “Political Philosophy” in 2003 until he also translated some works from the field of philosophy and aesthetics.
