Professor Zijad Mehiq and his team unveiled PITF’s new plans and latest program developments. The PITF team informed the Prime Minister about this year’s program, which marks the eighth edition, and for which they have received more than 100 applications from different countries of the world.
The festival will also serve as a platform to better know the cultural heritage of our country.
The Prime Minister congratulated the team for their excellent work. During the meeting, other developmental issues related to performing arts in Kosovo were discussed, but also the well-known author from Sarajevo, Abdulah Sidran, who passed away three weeks ago, was commemorated.
PITF is encouraging the development of the Theater, the creation of new stage frames and the promotion of the art and culture of Kosovo in the world, thus elevating the work and the name “Burbuqe Berisha” as one of the important figures of the stage art whom we lost in October 2021.
