The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today hosted the Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia of the World Bank, Asad Alam.
Prime Minister Kurti presented Kosovo’s achievements in the field of economic development, the strengthening of democratic institutions and the advancement of the rule of law. He emphasized the importance of cooperation with the World Bank in projects aimed at improving various sectors that increase the country’s competitiveness.
The World Bank’s Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, Asad Alam, praised Kosovo’s progress and reaffirmed the World Bank’s commitment to support the sustainable and inclusive development of the country.
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Lulëzon Jagxhiu, Director of the World Bank in Kosovo, Massimiliano Paolucci, also participated in the meeting; The Chief Economist for the Western Balkans at the World Bank, Richard Record, and the representative of the World Bank in Kosovo, Besart Myderrizi.
