Following the meetings of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in the United States of America, the next one was with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković.
The relations between our two countries are excellent, and this was confirmed today by both parties. Joint commitment to strengthening relations and expanding them in areas of common interest was emphasized.
Among the agreements and opportunities for deepening cooperation, the field of security and education was singled out for more exchanges and joint training.
In this meeting, peace and security in the Balkans were discussed, where the Prime Minister said that Serbia remains a destabilizing and threatening factor in the region. He emphasized the paramilitary attack in Banjska, which marked the anniversary of this terrorist act three days ago, as well as the continuous disinformation propaganda of the Serbian state apparatus on Kosovo and especially the north of our country. On the dialogue with Serbia taking place in Brussels, the Prime Minister reiterated Kosovo’s commitment to the normalization process and the need for unconditional respect, as well as the full implementation without further delay of the Basic Agreement and the Implementing Annex, while Serbia has not yet signed it and is not ready to move forward towards the normalization of relations.
