The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the owner of the “Yıldırım” group, Robert Yüksel Yıldırım, in a meeting during the day. The ambassador of Turkey in Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angili, was also present at the meeting.
Today, Yıldırım Energy laid the foundation stone for the solar energy park in the premises of the Ferronikeli complex in Drenas. The initial capacity of solar panels is over 54 MW, while the plan is to reach a capacity of 150 MW in total, by 2026.
Prime Minister Kurti appreciated the objectives of this project, which coincides with the commitment of our goals towards the transition to renewable energy. Next, the conversation focused on opportunities and potential for investment in Kosovo.
Thanking them for choosing Kosovo as one of the countries where this company has chosen to invest, Prime Minister Kurti wished them good work and success in their initiatives.
