Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the new ambassador of Albania to Kosovo, Petrit Malaj.
Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the ambassador on his new assignment. He appreciated the fraternal relations between our two countries, stressing the importance of deepening and advancing our cooperation. They talked about the Western Balkans region, where cooperation between states should be based on democracy and security, on the orientation and values of NATO and the EU.
Prime Minister Kurti singled out the agreements between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, the implementation of which strengthens our relations and brings the citizens closer to each other. They have a direct and positive impact on their lives, businesses and beyond.
Bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Albania have resulted in the signing of a total of 184 agreements, protocols and memoranda.
Meanwhile, the Malay ambassador expressed his commitment to further our excellent relations. He emphasized that he feels honored and happy to serve in Kosovo.
Wishing him success in this new commitment, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the Malay ambassador for the fruitful meeting and conversation.
