The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the well-known artist from Kosovo, Rita Ora, at the same time the Honorary Ambassador of Kosovo, accompanied by her husband, the director Taika Waititi, as well as the actress and producer Odessa Rae, both award winners. Oscar, as well as from her father, Besnik Sahatçiu and sister Elena Ora. Present at the meeting was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku and the Director of the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo, Blerta Zeqiri.
A special Sunday, where Rita Ora celebrates her 33rd birthday. During this friendly meeting, they talked about the field of art and culture in Kosovo. Bearing in mind the government’s plans to develop the local film industry, the cooperation agreements that Kosovo has with its partner countries in the field of film were emphasized, where the one with the state of France was singled out.
The possibilities and forms of cooperation with the aim of promoting Albanian culture abroad, through artists, musicians and young directors, were discussed.
Prime Minister Kurti called this Sunday of this meeting unforgettable. Congratulating her on her birthday, he said that Rita Ora makes us all proud with her work and contribution.
For her part, Rita Ora said that this was an extraordinary way to spend this special day for her, and she singled out her arrival in Kosovo today as well as the meeting with the Prime Minister, calling them inspiring.
She emphasized the desire to engage further and deepen cooperation, especially to contribute to young artists from Kosovo, especially from the world of music and film.
