The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo, Nuno Queiros, who was also accompanied by his deputy, Dudley Tarlton.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the fruitful cooperation with UNDP agencies in important areas for the country’s development, justice and sustainable and long-term progress. Cooperation in the fight against corruption, in transitional justice, the rights of non-majority communities, and cultural heritage was singled out.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, taking care of the constitutionality and legality of its decisions, has based its cooperation with the United Nations agencies in Kosovo on the laws in force.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of working on the anti-corruption strategy, for more institutional accountability, transparency and justice.
