The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continued his visit to Zurich by meeting internationally known technology companies such as Belimo, Migros, Bühler, PostFinance, Galenika, Xebia, Allianz.
During the conversations with leaders and senior representatives of these companies, Prime Minister Kurti introduced them to the economic growth and democratic progress of Kosovo, and to the achievement of the Free Trade Agreement with EFTA states last month, of which Switzerland is a member.
In the meeting, the prime minister singled out the information technology sector, with the digital infrastructure, which has seen a new surge of progress in the last three years. He mentioned the spread of broadband internet throughout the country and with 5G technology, over 2,000 companies in the technology sector that export services abroad, services and portals that facilitate citizens’ access realized through e-Kosova that already offers over 200 services, as well as the support of young people who engage in this sector through professional training and scholarships.
He invited companies to invest in Kosovo, to become part of the technological and development ecosystem of our country, but also part of a good business environment.
