The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the representatives of the Association of Political Prisoners of Kosovo in a meeting today.
The importance of documentation in the service of collective memory as well as justice for political oppression and violence used on Albanian political activists and intellectuals committed to political rights, self-determination, liberation and the Republic of Kosovo was emphasized.
There was talk about the possibilities of documentation to prove the truth about physical torture and psychological pressure by the criminal regime of Serbia on thousands of Albanian prisoners. Highlighting the massacre of political prisoners in Dubrava prison, it was said that although the surviving prisoners have narrated the story of the massacre along with the names of those who committed this war crime, the perpetrators have not yet been brought to justice, despite the testimonies and witnesses.
In the joint meeting with the chairman of the Association of Political Prisoners of Kosovo, Shefki Sadiku and the representatives Meriman Braha, Hydajet Hyseni, Xhemajl Pllana and Xhevat Bislimi, there was a discussion about the possible forms of support for ShBPK and its strengthening
