The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, began his participation in the High Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly with a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein, Daniel Risch.
This meeting in New York took place while in Pristina representatives of the two governments are holding the fourth round of discussions about the EFTA agreement, for which the prime minister expressed optimism for its finalization, which would contribute to the growth of our economic and trade relations.
Being a constant supporter of Kosovo’s integration processes, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for Liechtenstein’s support for membership in the Council of Europe and the European Union.
In the context of strengthening bilateral relations, Prime Minister Kurti and Prime Minister Risch also discussed the possibilities for facilitating commercial cooperation through the elimination of double taxation.
This was the first meeting between the two prime ministers.
