The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today the head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo, Nuno Queiros.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that cooperation in the field of anti-corruption, transitional justice, rights of non-majority communities and cultural heritage are of special importance and in relation to the same, cooperation should be continued in the future.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, paying attention of the constitutionality and legality of its decisions, has based its cooperation with the United Nations agencies in Kosovo on the laws in force.
The prime minister also gave importance to the work on the anti-corruption strategy, to the recommendations proposed by the government within the same, which raise the level of accountability of public institutions, thus significantly reducing the possibility of corruption in the field of public procurement, health, education, public administration and functioning of the judiciary.
