The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi held a joint meeting with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs and overseer of the policies of the Western Balkan countries, Gabriel Escobar and the EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák.
Today’s meeting was a preparatory meeting for tomorrow’s high-level political meeting in the framework of the dialogue with Serbia, having on its agenda the discussion of elements of the general framework of the agreement and current issues. Prime Minister Kurti said that the goal of the principled and balanced dialogue, from which the citizens of both countries should benefit, must be the achievement of a legally binding agreement focusing on mutual recognition.
