The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the Ambassador of Turkey in Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angılı.
This meeting took place on the eve of Prime Minister Kurti’s official visit to Ankara and Istanbul in the coming days, where among the agenda he will have the opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as well as with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan.
The first Economic Forum between the Republic of Kosovo and Turkey will be held in Istanbul where many businesses from Kosovo and Turkey will participate as a unique opportunity to expand the opportunities for economic and commercial cooperation.
During the conversation, bilateral relations and the importance of cooperation in joint projects in the fields of culture, defense and investments were discussed. Our two countries share excellent bilateral relations therefore, deepening and strengthening them remains a mutual objective.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of Turkey and its people to the people and state of Kosovo, especially for its role in Kosovo’s membership in international organizations and its recent unwavering support for accession to the Council of Europe.
