The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Hargreaves, in a meeting yesterday.
The result of yesterday’s meeting at the Council of Europe, bilateral and regional issues as well as joint projects were the subject of discussion.
The Prime Minister thanked the United Kingdom for the position taken yesterday during the meeting of the committee of ministers in support of Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe. He also thanked him for the support in joint projects, where he singled out the help for the expansion of the project for the verification of diplomas for students from the Serbian community for employment purposes in the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
The meeting also discussed the results of the third meeting of the six countries of the Western Balkans (BP6) on the Growth Plan that took place yesterday in Kotor, Montenegro, and the Joint Declaration from this meeting.
We recall that the Joint Declaration from yesterday’s summit in Kotor, among other things, calls for equal treatment in CEFTA, full implementation of the agreements reached in the Berlin Process, as well as requests that the countries of the Six Western Balkans become part of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) of the European Union to increase financial integrity and strengthen cooperation in the fight against financial crime.
