The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed in his office the Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen.
Today’s meeting and conversation, among other things, focused on the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen, to Kosovo on September 5.
The Prime Minister expressed that it was a pleasure to welcome Minister Valtonen to Pristina and the Government building to discuss bilateral relations, issues of interest to both sides and the ways and areas in which cooperation and relations can be further deepened, especially in the field of trade and defense.
As a continuation of the September 5 meeting, the Prime Minister and Ambassador Nissinen talked about the necessary preparation for the visit of a delegation of Finnish business representatives to research the opportunities and advantages that our country offers to foreign investors.
He thanked Ambassador Nissinen for the close cooperation in the successful realization of Minister Valtonen’s visit and for the continuous and important support of Finland to Kosovo, both in its membership in international organizations and in internal institutional and social development.
