Prime Minister Kurti met representatives of German companies, invites them to invest in Kosovo

The stay in Munich, to participate in the Security Conference, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Luan Dalipi and the ambassador of Kosovo in Germany, Faruk Ajeti, started with a working breakfast with representatives of German businesses, organized in cooperation with the Foreign Council on Economic Relations.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Kurti underlined the economic indicators of the country and the progress of Kosovo as a developing, progressive and democratic state. He listed demographic and geographic advantages, favorable fiscal policies, young professionals, reform and improvement in the rule of law and institutional stability, as reasons why they make Kosovo a favorable environment for foreign investments.

He informed them about the plans and potential of investments in our country in many fields. Among them, the energy sector, namely renewable energy, was highlighted, where the bidding process for the first 100 MW solar auction was recently successfully completed and the call for the next wind auction, with a capacity of 150 MW, is expected to open soon.

Also, the prime minister spoke about the beginning of the implementation of dual education in 21 vocational schools, in 14 municipalities with the aim of linking education with the labor market, as well as about the Sovereign Fund, which will bring a new cycle of investments in the country by connected Kosovo with the world financial markets.

In this context, he invited German companies to visit Kosovo and consider the opportunities it offers for investment.
