The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met and talked in Izmir with members of the diaspora, students and representatives of various Albanian associations from Izmir, Bursa, Manisa and Istanbul.
He informed them of the progress, developments in the country and governance in these more than three years, highlighting the economic indicators that show the double growth of foreign investments and exports, the increase of tax revenues by 2/3, without changing the fiscal policy, and the level of employment, especially among young people.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the reasons why Kosovo offers a favorable environment for investment, including the cheap price of electricity, professional workforce, trust in public institutions, fiscal policies and the fact that Kosovo recently received its first sovereign credit rating by Fitch Rating. On this occasion, he called on them to come to Kosovo, explore the opportunities offered by our country and invest, as he expressed his gratitude for the continuous and important contribution of our diaspora in Turkey, in maintaining good relations, as well as in creating bridges of cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey.
The Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Izmir, Dr. Cemil Tugay, with whom Prime Minister Kurti also had a meeting during his stay in Izmir.
