During his stay in Turkey, exactly in Istanbul, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, last night met with Albanian businessmen of Albanian origin from various sectors operating in Turkey.
At a joint dinner, he informed them of the progress that Kosovo has made in the economic field in the last three years, emphasizing the double increase in foreign investments and exports, but also the increase in tax revenues by 2/3, without changing fiscal policy, but as a result of increased trust in institutions. The prime minister also singled out the favorable environment for investment in Kosovo, including the cheap price of electricity, professional workforce, fiscal policies and the fact that Kosovo recently received its first sovereign credit rating from Fitch Rating.
As he expressed his thanks and gratitude for the continuous and important contribution of our emigrants to Turkey, he called on representatives and business owners to come to Kosovo, explore the opportunities offered by our country and invest. He made this call by offering them the support of the Government along with the legal infrastructure and state mechanisms so that the investment is safe and profitable.
The Prime Minister thanked all those present for the warm hospitality and for the commitment and their important role in creating bridges of cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey, in addition to the continuous contribution to the homeland as an exile.
At this dinner, alongside the Prime Minister were the Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Rexhepi, the Ambassador of Kosovo to Turkey, Agon Vrenezi, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi and the deputy of the Assembly of Kosovo, Enis Kervan.
