During the visit he is making today to the Municipality of Podujeva, where the state program “Sport in School” was launched at the “Xheladin Rekaliu” School, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was hosted by the Mayor of the Municipality, Shpejtim Bulliqi, in the building of the Municipality.
In this meeting, infrastructural projects in the Municipality were discussed, such as that of the Industrial Zone, the Pristina-Podujevë highway, the sewage plant and the Pollata Lake.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister was informed by Mayor Bulliqi about the work and results of the government, with emphasis on some of the projects that are being implemented and some that have been completed, such as the City Emergency, the bus station, the reconstruction of some roads within the city, among them the road “Skenderbeu” and “Hakif Zejnullahu”, and the construction of new nurseries. It highlighted the fact that earlier there was only one daycare center in the municipality, while during the administration of Mayor Bulliqi three more daycare centers have been added that are already functional, two are under construction and are expected to be completed this year, and three more are expected to start construction this year.
Prime Minister Kurti has offered his and the government’s support in the implementation of infrastructure projects, projects that directly affect the improvement of the lives of the citizens of this municipality.
From there, Prime Minister Kurti together with Mayor Bulliqi followed the day’s agenda to the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the project of the Residential Center for the elderly in the Municipality of Podujeva.
