The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed to the government building the rector of Fachhochschule Flensburg and the member of the Parliament of Hamburg, Dr. Sven Tode.
The meeting began with the prime minister’s congratulations on welcome to Kosovo and the interest of Mr. Tode in the field of education in Kosovo. Prime Minister Kurti informed him about the government’s achievements in the field of education.
During the conversation, bilateral relations in this direction, academic cooperation and the opportunities and potential presented by our emigration to Germany for further strengthening of our relations were also discussed.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the budget for the education sector has increased by 26%, while university studies are free for students. Dr. Sven Tode expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and congratulated the government of Kosovo for the progress made in the field of education.
During his stay in Kosovo, Mr. Tode will visit several universities and schools to see closely the developments and opportunities for further cooperation. In Hamburg, he is in constant contact with Albanian students and aims to strengthen academic and cultural ties between the two countries.
