Prime Minister Kurti hosted the Czech Ambassador to Kosovo Pavel Bilek in a farewell meeting

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today received Ambassador Pavel Bilek of the Czech Republic, for a farewell meeting.
In a heartfelt meeting, the Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Bilek for the excellent cooperation and dedication in advancing the relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Czech Republic. He expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the Czech Republic for the Republic of Kosovo in international organizations and forums.

The Prime Minister reminded that this good coperation was marked last year with the submission of Kosovo’s Application for Membership in the European Union in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. An historical event for Kosovo and its citizens, and our journey to the European Union as an aspiration and destiny of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Czech Presidency in the second half of last year proved to be a favorable period for our Republic. It helped us progress towards integration in the European Union with the acceptance of the EU membership application and has actively contributed to the liberalization of visas for the Kosovo citizens.

Ambassador Bilek also highlighted a significant moment in history – the submission of the application for European Union membership in Prague and the subsequent enhancement of trade relations.

As they exchanged gifts, Prime Minister Kurti extended his good luck and wished Ambassador Bilek continued success in his upcoming endeavors.
