The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of Switzerland to Kosovo, Thomas Kolly, whom he thanked for mutual cooperation throughout his mandate and for his valuable contribution to the preservation and advancement of excellent relations between our two countries and peoples.
In addition to the cooperation, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Kolly for Switzerland’s continuous support to Kosovo, which has been important in each phase of its liberation, state building and development.
Switzerland is the second country in terms of direct investments in Kosovo, while only for the years 2022-2025 it has allocated approximately 86 million CHF for Kosovo, especially in the areas of Democratic Governance and Peace, Sustainable Economic Development and Climate Change, Water and Health.
The ambassador thanked the prime minister for regular communication and close cooperation. He expressed gratitude for his time in Kosovo.
In this farewell meeting, they talked about interstate relations, the areas where they can be deepened even further, and about the positive trend of trade exchanges, especially in the Information Technology sector.
