The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted today in a meeting Mrs. Siemtje Möller, Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Germany, also Deputy Minister of Defense.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for the valuable contribution that the Federal Republic of Germany has given to the liberation, independence and state building of Kosovo. Thanking him for Germany’s contribution to KFOR, the Prime Minister emphasized the role and importance of KFOR in Kosovo.
He appreciated the role and support of Germany and reiterated the importance that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo attaches to the Berlin Process, as the best opportunity for cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans region for integration into the European Union.
It was discussed about the support related to the goal of the Republic of Kosovo for preparation for application and acceptance in the Partnership for Peace Program of NATO, as well as in other international organizations.
Secretary Möller appreciated the good and deep relations between Kosovo and Germany.
It was emphasized that the frequent state-level visits reaffirm the excellent relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Germany, as well as serve to further deepen friendship and cooperation.
