The fifth official meeting for this year between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Commander of KFOR, Özkan Ulutas, this time was the one of farewell, when the mandate of the Major General is coming to an end.
Thanking KFOR Commander Ulutas for his contribution and service in the field of security, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his high appreciation for close cooperation, communication, coordination and always sincere conversations in the spirit of synergy for maintaining peace and security.
In the meeting, the cooperation between our security institutions, especially the Kosovo Police and the NATO Mission in Kosovo, KFOR, was evaluated. The Prime Minister also underlined the importance of the rule of law and providing a calm and safe environment for all citizens of the country without distinction.
Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied in this meeting by the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi.
