In marking of the 24th anniversary of the Recak massacre, at the 118th meeting of the Government, funds were allocated for Ambassador William Walker’s book, about the massacre of January 15, 1999, and its historical weight.
Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a friendly meeting, Ambassador William Walker, with whom he shared the painful memories of the past, the challenges and worries of the present and the hopes and beliefs for the future. He thanked him for his irreplaceable contribution during the last war in Kosovo, his permanent interest in Kosovo and his complete willingness to tell the truth.
Ambassador Walker will always be the ambassador of truth. The Albanian people and history will always be grateful for the description and disclosure of the crimes against humanity and the Reçak massacre, crimes that were intended to be hidden then and which are still denied today by the leaders of the same executing state.(Edited)Restore original
