The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted in his office a delegation from the Republic of Albania, composed of two Albanian Assembly MPs, Pandeli Majko and Gerta Duraku, the Prefect of Kukës, Ali Hallaçi and the Mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.
The ways and opportunities to increase mutual cooperation at the central level and joint projects at the local level were discussed in the meeting. The District of Kukës is of paramount value for the relations between Kosovo and Albania, it was said at the meeting. On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti was invited to visit Kukës.
He added that we want to pursue the path of cooperation between our two countries, with an emphasis on facilitating the movement of border area residents.
