Prime Minister Kurti expressed his condolences to the Gashi family, on the occasion of the death of the writer Adem Gashi

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and today in the morning visited the family of the well-known poet, Adem Gashi, who passed away on Tuesday, January 16.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti said that Adem Gashi was “a friend of the Albanian people, of the suffering of our society, of his and our beloved Kosovo, and therefore of each of us”.

“His work, for us and our memories of him, are deep traces that make light. The sharp mind, diligent work, unrelenting patriotism and permanent friendship of the writer Adem Gashi are a very valuable contribution to our nation and society”, the Prime Minister wrote in the book of mourning, during his visit to the Gashi family.

The Prime Minister further added that we will remember the deceased with respect for his work, dedication and the deep traces he left on our people, stressing that his works are what will always shine a light on the contribution made to his beloved Kosovo. .

“We are indebted, responsible, to continue his contribution with our responsible behavior and actions within the framework of common ideals,” Prime Minister Kurti said at the end.

In this condolence visit, along with Prime Minister Kurti, there were also members of the Assembly, Avni Dehari, Enver Dugolli, Shqipe Selimi, Gani Krasniqi and Hydajet Hyseni.

We came here for condolences, because Adem Gashi was a friend of the Albanian people, of the suffering of our society, of his and our beloved Kosovo, and therefore of each of us.

Therefore, even with longing and sorrow, we came for consolation, stressing that his works for us and our memories of him are deep traces, which will always give light.

May the land of Kosovo be light, and we are indebted, responsible, to continue its contribution with our responsible behavior and actions within the framework of common ideals.
