The complete note of Prime Minister Kurti in the condolence book:

On my behalf, and on behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Kosovo, I express our deepest condolences for the passing of the former Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe.
Mr Abe’s work for democracy, freedom and safety in Japan and the world was extraordinary. He was a statesman who worked tirelessly to advance a common vision for a free and open world.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made an important contribution to the relations between Japan and the Republic of Kosovo. He was a great friend and partner of our country and people. The decision to open the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo was made during the term of Mr Abe as prime minister. His initiative for the Balkans (“Western Balkans Cooperation Initiative”) included Kosovo among the seven countries and continues to be active with the support and assistance of the Government of Japan. During Prime Minister Abe’s time, Japan was among the top five contributors to Kosovo in education, environment, emergencies and natural disasters, public television, training of state and local officials, and other investments.
We will honour his memory with deep gratitude.
