The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today attended the opening of the newest and first branch of the Banka Ekonomike in Leposaviq, where the Mayor, Lulzim Hetemi, was also present.
From there, Prime Minister Kurti stated that the newest branch of the Banka Ekonomike will offer all the services that are open to citizens and businesses, such as making payments, transfers and loans.
“In this way, it is possible for everything to be done legally and transparently in accordance with the law, constitutionality and the rules of doing business, finance and banking in our Republic”, declared the Prime Minister.
He expressed his gratitude to the Mayor, Lulzim Hetemi, and the directors of the Banka Ekonomike, Shpend Luzha and Rrahim Pacolli, who in recent months have worked to efficiently and quickly implement the new branch that will provide extremely important services to citizens without distinction, and with investments in the latest technology.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of the Banka Ekonomike, Shpend Luzha, expressed his happiness on the occasion of the opening of the 33rd branch of the Banka Ekonomike, which will provide all citizens of the Municipality of Leposavic with easier access to finances through physical presence.
“This would not have been possible without the support of public institutions, such as law enforcement agencies, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, and the Post of Kosovo, which has enabled us to open this branch in record time, which is a modern branch with investments in the latest technology,” concluded Chief Executive Luzha, reiterating his thanks to Prime Minister Kurti and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

A good day for the citizens of Leposaviq, for the residents who live and work here and for our state and for the economy of our country, since the branch of the Banka Ekonomike was opened, which will enable payments, transfers, as well as lending and in this way, all services will be open to citizens and businesses, in order to benefit both families and businesses.
I would like to thank the Mayor, Lulzim Hetemi, but also the owners and managers of the Banka Ekonomike, Shpend Luzha and Rrahim Pacolli, who have worked in recent months to efficiently and quickly implement this new opportunity, this extremely important service for citizens, without distinction.
In this way, it is possible for everything to be done legally and transparently in accordance with the law, constitutionality and the rules of doing business, finance and banking in our Republic.
Shpend Luzha just informed me that everything offered by Banka Ekonomike in Pristina is also offered in Leposaviq, with the difference that the ATM machines are even newer than in Pristina, so they are of the latest technology and newly purchased specifically for this new branch, so congratulations to all the citizens of Leposaviq, congratulations Mayor, congratulations Shpend, congratulations Rrahim and thank you very much for this very valuable achievement.
