The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has appointed Mr. Atdhe Hetemi, Executive Director of the Institute for War Crimes in Kosovo.
Wishing him success in his new task, Prime Minister Kurti reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to the truth, the right to know and justice, as well as confronting the past as a condition for a bright future. He reiterated the ongoing institutional commitment to address all crimes committed by Serbia during the war in Kosovo.
Atdhe Hetemi is a lecturer in the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Pristina. He completed his doctorate at the University of Ghent in Belgium, with a focus on the political history of the Western Balkans. He has more than fifteen years of professional experience, mainly focused on research work and policy making.
