Prime Minister Kurti after the tributes at the “Adem Jashari” Memorial Complex: Always and forever we are thankful and grateful to the Jasharis

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the President of the country Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, the Head of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca and members of the government cabinet, paid tribute today at the “Adem Jashari” Memorial Complex in Prekaz, following the activities in honor of 26th anniversary of the Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Prime Minister Kurti said that in the heroic and historical Prekazi we return again and again, to remember and commemorate the price and roots of freedom, which we enjoy.

“Each and every one should come to this place, so that we don’t forget and that we don’t deviate. So that we don’t forget the past and so that we don’t deviate towards the future”, he said.

Highly appreciating the sacrifice, self-sacrifice and selflessness of the Jasharis, Prime Minister Kurti said that the Epopee of the Liberation Army is at the foundation of the liberation of our country and that it represents both pain and pride, but also faith and hope for our country and people.

Glory to Commander Adem Jashari, the Jashari Family, the Kosovo Liberation Army and all the nation’s martyrs!

After the tributes, Prime Minister Kurti together with President Osmani-Sadriu, Head of Parliament Konjufca and government cabinet ministers visited the Jashari family, where they were received by Rifat Jashari.
