Today at noon, the Minister for Return and Communities, Mr. Nenad Rashić, asked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to allow the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church to enter Kosovo, as part of preparations for the Orthodox Christmas celebration.
Patriarch Porfirije has warned that this afternoon he will come to the border crossing between Kosovo and Serbia and that he wants to enter without his bodyguards, even though he has not made a request for a visit according to the provisions of the existing agreement. Prime Minister Kurti responded positively to Minister Rashiq.
Patriarch Porfirije’s warning that he plans to enter Kosovo without bodyguards is another proof that Kosovo is a safer country than Serbia.
