Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, during his official visit to Slovenia, met with the highest state honours by the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Miro Cerar.

After the meetings, the two Prime Ministers attended the signing ceremony of the Agreement on police cooperation between the two countries, which was signed by the Ministers of Interior Affairs, Skender Hyseni and Vesna Gyorkos Znidar.

Later, the two Prime Ministers held a press conference where they highly appreciated the cooperation between the two countries.

Prime Minister Mustafa spoke about the processes in Kosovo and the region.

Prime Minister Mustafa also pointed out the progress that is being achieved in the Republic of Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the reforms that are being undertaken for sustainable economic development, employment, the rule of law and the reforms in education and in health.

Talking about economic reforms, Prime Minister Mustafa highly praised the role of foreign investment, highlighting the Slovenian investments and their performance in Kosovo.

In this regard, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed the strong commitment of the Government to create conditions for foreign investment.

Prime Minister Mustafa talked about the strong commitment of the Government in the European integration process, by expressing the conviction that the Stabilization and Association Agreement will be signed soon and visa liberalization for Kosovo citizens.

Prime Minister Isa Mustafa thanked Slovenia for the support giving to Kosovo, including support to the European integration processes.

Prime Minister Mustafa also praised the excellent relations between the two countries, expressing commitment to further strengthening of relations and exchanges between Kosovo and Slovenia.

Prime Minister of the republic of Slovenia, Miro Cerar, appreciated good relations between the two countries, expressing the commitment of the Slovenian Government to deepen cooperation in many areas.

Prime Minister Cerar also appreciated the progress and reforms that are being undertaken in Kosovo, providing further support of Slovenia for Kosovo, including strong support in the European integration processes.
