The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received in a meeting the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Luka Bebic. Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi and the President of the Croatian Parliament, Luka Bebiq talked on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi reemphasized the friendship between Kosovo and Croatia due to the common past of war for freedom and the determination for the Euro-Atlantic values of the two countries. The people of Kosovo and the Croatian nation foster feelings of mutual respect – stated Prime Minister Thaçi and underscored the commitment of the Government of Kosovo in continuing the good relations between the two countries.
The President of the Croatian Parliament, Luka Bebiq, expressed the willingness of the Croatian state on continuing the relations between the two countries and of the Croat support for Kosovo in the process of European integration.
The support of the Republic of Croatia with her experience in the process of European integration was also highly regarded and deemed as welcomed for Kosovo.
