The Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to the recommendations that derived today from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
With regards to the yesterday’s recommendation by the Assembly, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will review the possibilities and alternatives to respect them, by always respecting the legal framework and the integrating process of Kosovo towards the European Union.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has always been determined in stating that Kosovo needs to be treated equally with all the other countries, and also in terms of its relations with Serbia, as two independent and sovereign states and the undertaken measures have always aimed at reaching this objective.
The Government reiterates its commitment and willingness to maintain peace and stability in the region, with a special focus on the normalization and improving of the interstate relations with Serbia and other neighbors. We will continue to respect and adopt a correct approach in the dialogue, simultaneously with the integration journey toward the EU and NATO.
Every step of the Government of Kosovo is in the service of progress in the process of integration in the EU, maintaining of good and productive relations in all the fields, including a free market economy.
Therefore, we see the last recommendation by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo as an approach for an equal treatment in relations with every state, including Serbia, to which we have always been and will continue to be committed.
