Minister for dialogue Edita Tahiri, hosted in the meeting the EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zhbogar, who thanked him for the support of the European Union for the state of Kosovo towards advancing the agenda for European Integration of Kosovo through the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, as well as the overall development and facilitation of dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
Minister Tahiri informed Mr. Zhbogar with the priorities of the Government, by stressing out that we will be committed to a sustainable economic growth and employment, the rule of law, and deepening of European enhancing the Euro-Atlantic integration reforms in all areas. She noted that Kosovo remains committed to good neighbourly relations and regional cooperation in this regard constructive engagement in Brussels Dialogue will continue, considering that this dialogue contributes to peace and stability in the region and has become a positive role model for the region wide.
Further, Mr. Zhbogar expressed his sincere congratulations for the appointment of Ms Tahiri as minister in charge of the dialogue process, saying that the EU has welcomed the establishment of the new government. He highly appreciated the commitment of the Minister Tahiri in the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, facilitated by the European Union, on which occasion said that significant results were achieved in these four years. Mr. Zhbogar said that the upcoming period will also be important for the achievement and consolidation of further progress. Among the priorities of the Government Mr. Zhbogar praised the efforts to implement the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, reforms in economic development, rule of law, public administration, continued progress on visa liberalization and progress in the dialogue. He stressed that mutual cooperation, as always, shall be there for the purpose of further progress, stability and prosperity for the people of Kosovo.
