The Kosovo Government Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Minister of Transport and Telecommunication Fatmir Limaj has observed today the works done in widening the Prishtina – Fushë Kosovë road.
“I am here today to encourage and give support for this very important work being done in widening the highway Prishtina – Fushë Kosovë – Sllatinë – Komoran and heading towards Peja”, PM Thaçi emphasized.
“This is also a special day, as today the tender for the construction of the highway of an important national and international interest Vërmicë – Prishtinë – Merdare was announced. This road will start building this year. Kosova has now, two months after the proclamation of independence started to wok with high intensity of works that are visible on the ground, and which are to the benefit of country’s development and a the interest of the citizens”, said PM Thaçi , underlining that this is just the beginning, as the Government will continue with powerful investments with the donors so that it can be a modern developed country of major opportunities, which in future will be a deserved part of NATO and EU.
Minister Fatmir Limaj said that thus we are fulfilling the priorities which the government has set. These objectives will al be accomplished in due time. “Nothing will prevent us from making great deeds for our country,” said Mr. Limaj. He said that this highway will end in July, when it is expected that the PM cut the red tape of launching it.
