Government of Kosovo held its 80th regular meeting

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, has held 80th regular meeting, whereby re-submitted the proposal nomination of candidates to be members of the Public Procurement Review Body.

The Government in the meeting today approved a decision to re-submit to the Assembly of Kosovo candidates for chairpersons and members of the Procurement Review Body.

Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said that through this act the legal conditions met even though the law stipulates that at least two members are proposed for each position.

“We have three locations there, the place of the chairperson and two seats for members of the PRB, therefore I can tell you that according to the information I have all documentation for them are completed, in terms of the curriculum vitae and other legal documentation required “, said Prime Minister Mustafa.

Following the meeting today the initiative for concluding the Agreement on Cross-Border Cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Montenegro was approved in principle. This agreement is to support the implementation of cross-border cooperation under the IPA II 2014-2020.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the decision to recommend to the President of the Republic of Kosovo granting authorization to the Minister of Economic Development for the signing of the cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania for exchange and regulatory or reserve division between Transmission System Operator TSO and the Transmission System Operator and Market – KOSST Sh. A. The agreement aims to contribute to regional stabilization of the electricity market.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Petrit Selimi, announced the cabinet that Kosovo is a member of the International Exhibitions Bureau. He said that this is a great news for the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and the Ministry of Culture, because this international organization among the oldest in the world allow Kosovo to officially participate in EXPO organized on a regular basis and fairs and other exhibitions and international representations.
