Pristina, 28 August 2015

Government Of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, held its regular meeting.

In the opening of the meeting, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa spoke about the representation of Kosovo in Vienna Summit and the agreements reached in Brussels.

Prime Minister Mustafa announced that Kosovo was treated and greatly represented in the Vienna Summit. “I can say that Kosovo was an equal part of bilateral and multilateral discussions, to present the Western Balkans and Kosovo will be a great partner of projects that will provide our region with European standards. At the Vienna Summit we discussed issues of economic development, those dealing with basic network infrastructure, policies for young people, the issue of energy, refugee issues and European integration processes. Kosovo will benefit from the support of the European Union, the reason that Kosovo is showing that it is committed to pursuing the course of meeting the criteria of alignment with the values of the European Union. Performing our duties through reforms in the rule of law, and advancing the process of normalization of relations with neighbours as well as fighting corruption and organized crime, we are creating conditions for economic development, democratic development and integration of the our country into European Union and the countries of the Euro-Atlantic arena.

We are committed to work to resolve all problems which our country is facing during these 16 years after the war, therefore we will make solution for all our citizens without any distinction, and will leave legacy other generations of Kosovo to respect the rights of everyone, to continue to build a country with the rule of law, and a system of democratic values. All these commitments we have undertaken with our partners, with our European and American friends, to whom we believe because we share common values with them. And I think that none more than us have reason to believe the Europeans and Americans who in the last two decades, as well as earlier testified that protect human principles, support our aspirations for freedom, independence and democracy and aspirations integration. In this spirit, we guarantee the future of our country towards the civilized family of European countries. Therefore, we are committed to finding a solution in accordance with these principles for each domestic problem but also to resolve disputes with their neighbours, “said Prime Minister Isa Mustafa.

Regarding the agreements reached in Brussels, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed that it was agree to close the agreements that are very important, which integrate powerful Serbs in the institutions and in economic and social life of Kosovo, which enable central and local institutions to perform their duties and responsibilities throughout the country.
“Every solution we made on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and under the laws of Kosovo. Solutions are in the national interest and in the interest of all citizens of Kosovo. Further we expect a great job in all these aspects, therefore each of us should be constructive and sincere. I, as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, invite all political parties, civil society and opinion leaders to jointly be committed to make Kosovo a worthy place of being part of the European Union and friend of the United States. These goals we cannot achieve by treating each other just as a political opponent, the less can achieve by attacking relentlessly every action that is done by Government. The resolution made by the Government on four agreements signed in Brussels, is the solution which generates the obligation according to the Law on Ratification of the first Agreement for normalization of relations with Serbia in 2013. It’s nothing more or less. Therefore, it is not a new thing and something unexpected. Decision on Association was taken in Parliament in 2013, with over two-thirds vote on the legislation, on the occasion of the ratification of the first Brussels Agreement. We now continuously are building democracy, this democracy is built with public debate and confrontation of arguments, it is not built with slander, with insults and violation of public property and private property and attacks and their families and family denigration. I believe that such behaviour is unacceptable, they are illegal, tradition and customs are against Albanian and Kosovar customs and tradition, that we have built for centuries. Therefore, today I would like to stress that we will work without hesitation to free this country from threats from wherever they come. We will work that everyone to be responsible before the law for his actions, that those actions that attack the state, touching the property, individuals and their families, every human has to take responsibility for them. Therefore, I ask all institutions of the country to take action within their scope and that everyone as individuals and as an institution take responsibility for their actions and omissions, because it is about building the state, building democracy, and these values we have to leave to those who have the trust of citizens and those who have received the mandate of the citizens.

Further, the cabinet reviewed and adopted the Report on the State of Environment in Kosovo in 2015. The main purpose of this report is to meet the legal obligation for regular reporting on the environmental situation to central institutions of the country (Government of Kosovo and the Assembly of the Republic Kosovo), and the provision of relevant and realistic information on the basis of drafting an appropriate environmental policies.

Government of Kosovo, by separate decision approved the designation of protected areas sanitary and their defence  measures under the criteria set for the water resources used for drinking in “Well southeast in Savrove”, “Vrella, Captions 1 and 2 in the Mountains Mushtisht ‘, “Vrella in Studencan”, “Vrella and well” in Doberdelan, “well 1,2,3” in Samadrexhe, “Reinstate 1 and 2 and Captions” in Sopi, “Spring of willows, Gorge of Rusenica, Water sourse and eight wells in Sallagrazhde”,” Vrella in Reshtan “,” Vrella in Semetisht “, which are located in the municipality of Suha Reka.
