Government of the Republic of Kosovo held its regular meeting, led by Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, whereby adopted decisions of its Constitutional and legal authorization.
Prime Minister Mustafa, in the beginning of the meeting presented the quarterly financial report of the Government. “With this report we concluded that during these three months we have fewer expenses for goods and services to 13 percent compared with the same period last year. In terms of fuel the expenses are lower by 20 percent. Regarding the purchase of furniture, equipment, they are lower for 27 percent. Regarding telecommunication services, are lower for 15 percent and travel expenses are lower for 33 percent, there is a decrease, “said Prime Minister Mustafa, referring to criticism of the Government for continuing with the high expenses. Prime Minister Mustafa stressed that despite the arguments for reducing expenses, these do not minimize at all what everyone should act consciously to government property. “There is also criticism in the media, and there are arguments from our people, who have been these days in Durres and other countries, that the travel is made with government vehicles and that they are having vacation with those vehicles abroad. We have to take measures for this not to happen. It is not the Government policy to allow someone use the official vehicle to go abroad for vacation. I will ask the Ministry of Interior Affairs that during weekends and holidays and other days as well to stop all cars before going abroad, without proving that they go there for official purposes, “said Prime Minister Mustafa, by adding that the aim is not only to save, but that all officials to behave in a legal manner against the property they posses.
Meanwhile, referring to the fact that it managed to reduce expenses, the Prime Minister stressed that such a behaviour should not happen, which is not the official or state behaviour towards the property, and that no one has the right to use official vehicles and official property for private matters.
“I ask from you, who are in charge of ministries, the Secretary of the Office of Prime Minister and General Secretaries of Ministries to be responsible for putting this issue in control, because these are not issues that are allowed by the Government. We have asked from the first day to behave rationally and to use the tools for the job. If we work hard, we will use it during the night, day, even on weekends, will increase expenses, but will perform work for the Government, and not to spend on needs that are not government needs “said Prime Minister Mustafa.
The first point that was approved by the Government was the decision to establish the Commission of Immigration Appeals, which will have the following composition:
1. Agron Gashi, ZKM – Chairperson;
2. Burbuqe Spahija – Kërveshi, MJ – Co-Chairperson;
3. Avdyl Hyseni, MIA – member;
4. Zenel Gashi, MIA – member;
5. Minire Begaj, MLSW – member;
6. Rexhep Bllaca, MTI – member;
7. Isni Kryeziu, MEST – member.
Government of Kosovo took a decision for the appointment of members of the Commission for the promotion of jurisprudence, with the following composition:
1. Fejzullah Hasani Chairperson of the Commission, Co-Chairperson of the Commission Rame Gashi;
2. Abdulla Aliu, Member of the Commission, Deputy Member of the Commission Adem Vokshi;
3. Iliaz Ramajli, Member of the Commission, Deputy Member of the Commission Fetije Sadiku;
4. Nebojsha Boricic, Member of the Commission, Deputy Member of the Commission Visar Morina;
5. Mirlinda Batalli, Member of the Commission, Deputy Member of the Commission Rafet Haxha.
In the meeting of the Government was approved the decision to approve the budget for 2015 for the Municipality of North Mitrovica upon re-approval by the Municipal Assembly of North Mitrovica.
The Government of Kosovo also approved the decision for approving the budget 2015 for the municipality of Leposavic, upon re-approval by the Municipal Assembly of Leposavic.
Decision for approval of the budget 2015 for the Municipality of Zubin Potok was approved, upon re-approval by the Municipality Assembly of Zubin Potok.
Government of Kosovo also approved the decision for approving the budget 2015 for the municipality of Zvecan upon re-approval by the Municipal Assembly of Zvecan.
Regarding the issue raised in the meeting by the Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic, Prime Minister Mustafa has asked all authorities to take all legal measures to lighten this case and also to be taken legal action against all those who commit such acts. “The policies of the Government are to enable people to return to their countries, to return to their properties and no one has the right to obstruct it and to attack people. Therefore, as Prime Minister expresses my regrets about what happened but also the authorities should do their job and lighten up this situation “, said Prime Minister Mustafa.
