The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, hosted the new ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi expressed to the ambassador her full gratitude to the United Kingdom for its invaluable support in the democratic processes of multi-ethnic Kosovo.
She emphasized that Ambassador Hargreaves, with his rich diplomatic experience, will already contribute, especially to the economic empowerment of non-majority communities, which will be of key importance in further strengthening our international ties.
“I am convinced that together, with the support of the ICO organization, we will be able to work on projects for the economic empowerment of non-majority communities. Your experience and commitment are a valuable resource in achieving our goals”, said Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi.
Thus, the Deputy Prime Minister was convinced that future collaborations, partnerships and joint efforts with Great Britain will contribute to the further development of the country.
