The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, participated in the reception organized by the German embassy in Kosovo, on the occasion of the Day of German Unity.
In his speech, he expressed his appreciation for Germany’s steadfast support to Kosovo, especially in the state-building stages.
“Your support has been important in strengthening our institutions, advancing the economy and promoting social development. We remember with deep gratitude Germany’s decisive role in supporting Kosovo’s aspirations in the international arena. We greatly appreciate Germany’s contribution in areas such as economic development, education, security and cultural exchange, as we also strengthen our economic and social cooperation, which also contributes to the stability and progress of the entire region.” said the deputy prime minister.
In conclusion, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi said that Kosovo is already a country aiming for membership in the UN, EU, NATO, Council of Europe, and other international organizations, where even with the support of allied and partner countries such as Germany, we are moving towards the realization of these goals.
