Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi met with the scholarship recipients from the Young Professionals Scheme (YCS)

Today was held the ceremony of awarding the act-appointments to the scholarship holders of the XIII round from the Young Professionals Scheme (YCS), a project financed with the IPA funds of the European Union and co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the selection of which was carried out through a transparent and competitive process, with the aim of attracting young professionals to the public administration. The scholarship recipients were welcomed by the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, also present was the Deputy Ambassador of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova.

Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi welcomed the scholarship holders within the civil service of the Republic of Kosovo and added that the Government continues to support this program, which brings staff to the public administration and offers opportunities for young men and women, for their professional growth and experience.

Scholars have completed basic studies in various priority areas and sectors for the Government, including justice, economics, diplomacy, public administration, environment, energy and climate change. After successfully completing their studies, they already contribute to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, where they will work for at least 3 years as civil servants within the public administration.

Their contribution extends to the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Health.
