The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, today welcomed the young men and women scholarship holders from the Young Cell Scheme program.
They informed the deputy prime minister with their experience in the countries where they have lived and studied. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the program is a good opportunity to deepen the knowledge and skills in certain fields, which further put them at the service of the country, with the aim of the progress and development of Kosovo.
He added that the Government continues to support this program, as an important source of human capital, for sustainable growth and providing opportunities for young men and women.
This postgraduate scholarship program is co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union, supporting the reform of the public administration of Kosovo, and supporting the alignment of the country with the best European practices and standards. 409 students have been awarded with scholarships, in 13 rounds, to study in European universities, while the students accepted from the 14th convocation will leave for the respective universities by October. In this meeting, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Bardhyl Dobra, and members of the government cabinet and civil staff were also present.
